SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for fabrication and quality control matters for the project.
2. Generating relevant fabrication documentation for project deliverables as per client's requirement.
3. Perform coordination work with vendors, sub-contractors, local authorities, and clients for testing and inspection.
4. Train, supervise, and lead a group of technicians to meet departmental objectives and company targets in workshop and facilities management.
5. Responsible for ongoing physical maintenance and safety of the building and its facilities support systems to ensure smooth workshop operation for fabrication works.
6. Establish and coordinate the service schedule and supply of materials required to maintain facility, machinery, and equipment in the prescribed condition.
7. Lead and manage API valve testing activity.
8. Meet project deadlines as stipulated in the client's contract.
9. Responsible for in-house fabrication activity.
10. Assist the Project Manager or superior in executing site construction and commissioning when required.

Education Qualification:

Diploma in Engineering or holder of an equivalent qualification or significant experience in fabrication/Mechanical/Construction works with at least three years. Advantage for those who have JGG1 (JURUGEGAS GAS class 1).

Skills and Experience:

1. Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
2. Experience in managing and supervising a group of maintenance technicians.
3. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
4. Knowledge in basic tooling fabrication equipment.
5. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and solid people management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
