Service Sales Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks

As a Service Sales Engineer, you are our first connection to the client, where you would be responsible for the following:

• You actively search for new clients who could benefit from our solutions.
• You maintain existing relationships with customers.
• You qualify new leads and uncover client needs, requirements, and limitations.
• You develop, in teamwork with the service team both locally and from the division, technical solutions targeted at solving the uncovered client needs.
• You present GEAs solution by highlighting how it solves the client needs and how it delivers more value than the next best alternatives on the market.
• You negotiate and close sales by agreeing on commercial and legal conditions.
• You manage your installed base and CRM sales pipeline in terms of data integrity, velocity, and fullness to ensure sales reporting and business continuity.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years relevant process experience in:
• Food processing at industrial scale.
• Cooking and preparation.
• Slicing & Packaging.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B commercial sales experience for service agreements, including in-depth understanding of costing, designs, frontline sales activities, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience in upgrading or optimizing plants.
• Used to working in an international environment and dealing with international customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Chinese or Malay (Bahasa) is an added advantage.
• Good communicative and social skills.
• Willingness to travel in Malaysia.
