Service Engineer, Electrical

About the Company

Our client is the leader in dehumidification. They started in the USA and have been established in Malaysia since 1990. The opening will be based in Klang Valley.

They are a global solution provider for dehumidifiers, gas phase filtration, plastics drying, dry rooms, high-temperature waste heat recovery, and Air to Air energy recovery systems for Green Buildings, with subsidiaries in China, Malaysia, Brazil, Nigeria, and Switzerland, and an associate plant in the USA.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform equipment Testing & Commissioning according to design conditions, service & repair, and customer support. Travel up to 75% of the time at the site while providing support to customers over the phone.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct malfunctions in electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct equipment training for customers.
• Provide technical feedback by submitting detailed field service reports.
• Communicate professionally with customers in a service-oriented manner, both in person and in writing.
• Assist in promoting Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) service and indirect sales of company products.

Job Requirements

• Experience in Electrical Control Panels & Power Panels.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Chargeman (AO), IKM, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Electrical is preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision, willing to learn, and resourceful.
• Able to speak and write in English.
• Candidates must have their own transport.
• Candidates must be willing to travel outstation, including to Singapore.

Remuneration

RM 3,500 to RM 5,000
