About the role

As the Field Service Technician for Carrier, you will be involved in servicing and repairing water-cooled and air-cooled chillers, which are important components of HVAC systems. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, diagnosing, and maintaining these chillers to ensure they operate efficiently and meet clients' cooling needs. You will also identify potential issues, offer solutions, and keep accurate records of your service activities to uphold Carrier's standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of water-cooled and air-cooled chillers to identify any issues or potential problems affecting their performance.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and necessary repairs on the chillers to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.
• Implement strategies to optimize the efficiency of the chillers, such as adjusting settings, cleaning components, and replacing worn-out parts.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex issues with the chillers and develop effective solutions to address them promptly.
• Interact with clients to understand their cooling requirements, provide updates on service activities, and offer recommendations for improving chiller performance.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including inspections, repairs, parts replacements, and client communications.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder with strong experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hands-on technician role.
• Familiarity with repairing and servicing HVAC systems.
• Understanding of air conditioning within the HVAC field.
