Your Role:
Execute installation and service operations for standard products and systems, both domestically and internationally.
Independently diagnose malfunctions, identify required spare parts, and coordinate order placement with customers.
Perform repairs across various systems, including mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, control technology, and pneumatics.
Develop and propose interim solutions in collaboration with in-house service and management during escalations and discuss these solutions with customers.
Collaborate with internal experts and RSC Singapore to determine and implement effective solutions.
Provide comprehensive documentation of all service applications performed.
Execute implementation procedures, addressing any issues in collaboration with management or in-house service to determine and implement appropriate actions.
Conduct machine handover procedures with end customers, including customer-specific programming and special adaptations, in consultation with management or in-house service.
Perform customer installations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Provide detailed installation and implementation feedback for quality management purposes.
Identify customer service training needs and communicate them to Trumpf in-house service.
Perform preventative maintenance according to established service schedules.
Execute service procedures based on the complexity of the task.
Advise customers on necessary repair points, coordinate spare part orders as needed, and document all service activities.
Develop, update, and adapt service checklists.
Perform machine rebuilds and retrofits.
Implement service updates and data protection measures.
Provide technical innovation consultations to customers.
Document technical weaknesses in supplementary reports.
Encourage and support continuous improvement processes.
Conduct operator and service training as required.
Provide production assistance to customers (e.g., efficiency analysis).
The position to be based in Johor Bahru.
Your Profile:
A collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset, a positive and resilient attitude, and proven service experience in managing daily Service department activities.
Experience working within a multinational corporation (MNC), preferably in a matrix organizational structure.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Flexibility to travel within Asia and to the Germany headquarters.
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment/field is preferred.
A professional engineering qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's Degree, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent).
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Windows-based programming tools (QuickFlow, TruControl).
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
