We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, to join our Data Centre after-sales service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, daily maintenance, and after-sales support of Gensets, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and commissioning of equipment related to Data Centre Projects.
- Conduct daily maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of Gensets.
- Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot issues to identify and implement solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with the project team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support including repairs, replacements, and upgrades as required.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, issues resolved, and parts used.
- Adhere to local safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English and/or Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance of gensets, engines, and generators.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma is preferred.
