Service Advisor - Jaecoo KL

Key Responsibilities

1. Greet and assist customers with service and repair inquiries at the service reception.
2. Create and maintain accurate job cards for proper documentation of service or repair requests.
3. Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs or servicing and keep customers updated on their car’s status.
4. Provide technical explanations and advice to customers regarding their vehicles.
5. Interpret and communicate customer feedback and concerns to the technical team for further diagnosis.
6. Provide quotations for repair of customer's car and communicate with customers for approval including additional repairs on their cars whenever necessary.
7. Verify warranty coverage using vehicle maintenance records.
8. Coordinate with the Parts Department to place orders and notify customers upon parts arrival.
9. Liaise with Workshop Controller/Manager to ascertain the quality of the job done before notifying customers for vehicle collection.
10. Conduct follow-ups within three days of servicing to gather feedback on customer experience and vehicle performance.
11. Deliver vehicles to customers promptly and ensure they are returned clean and tidy.
12. Upsell approved products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to overall sales targets.
13. Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the manager when needed.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Strong technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Prior experience working with continental automotive brands (Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, MINI, Mercedes, etc.) is preferred.
5. Familiarity with Chery systems is an added advantage.
6. Confident, dynamic and highly customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
7. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate.
