Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Advisor to join our team at ML MOTO & LUBE SDN. BHD. in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and efficiently managing the workflow in our automotive service centre.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming customers, assessing their vehicle service needs, and providing transparent communication throughout the process
• Preparing accurate repair orders, estimating labour and parts costs, and securing customer approval for recommended services
• Coordinating with the service technicians to ensure timely and high-quality completion of all work
• Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, vehicle history, and work performed
• Proactively identifying and communicating additional service needs to customers
• Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner
• Promoting and upselling additional services and products to enhance the customer experience

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role in the automotive industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding solutions
• Proficient in using automotive service management software and computing systems
• A thorough understanding of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair procedures
• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and other staff
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
