SEO Executive

We are looking for an SEO expert to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings, traffic, and eventually deliver quality leads to clients.

Accountability

• Manage over 20-25 SEO website projects.
• Research and implement SEO recommendations for website architecture, content, internal linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords and online visibility.
• Work with the client’s website developer to implement analytics code, metadata, tracking pixels, and troubleshoot tracking and other technical issues.
• Ongoing SEO efforts, including but not limited to: keyword research, on-page optimizations (including keyword insertion, metadata, etc.), landing page optimization, and conversion optimization.
• Collaborate with clients and agency partners to create, implement, QA, measure, and iterate ongoing SEO strategies.
• Analyze and interpret campaign performance data and reports.
• Understand how to maximize crawl budget, remedy site performance issues, and implement/troubleshoot structured data using a variety of tools and technology.
• Uncover, understand, and achieve client goals and business objectives through campaign customization.
• Recommend and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals.
• Assist in the development and execution of communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with SEO goals.
• Ensure that all client deliverables include actionable insights and analysis of past results, performance trends, relevant industry best practices, recommendations, and next steps.
• Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
• Work with a group of Junior and Senior Digital Marketers, relying on your expertise for SEO matters.
• Conduct training on SEO-related subjects quarterly to train juniors and increase the SEO skill set of the team as a whole.

Personal Requirements

• Have a proven track record working with over 20 SEO projects in various industries.
• Minimum 3 years experience in marketing SEO for clients and businesses.
• Having agency experience would be an advantage.
• Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, SEMRush, etc.
• Strong people skills to work with cross-functional teams to help achieve common goals.

Compensation, Benefits & Working Environment

• Gross salary of RM 4,000 - RM 6,000.
• Annual increment & bonus opportunities.
• 14 days annual leave, standard medical leave, birthday leave.
• Hybrid working situation - 3 days from office, 2 days from home.
• Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM.
