Senior Well Services Engineer

Job Purpose

• Manage and control all concerned parties (contractors and relevant concerned departments) on well servicing operations to ensure compliance with company objectives in an efficient, safe, cost-optimized, and timely manner for optimal performance.
• Conduct systematic analysis and studies on well servicing operational incidents to enhance and optimize operations and achieve shared targets.
• Provide technical expertise on well servicing and related equipment to identify areas for improvement and efficient management of contracts and operations.
• Organize and ensure well servicing operations reports are updated and maintained for decision-making and prevention of recurrence.
• Review and evaluate work programs and operational problems encountered during well servicing to ensure all activities are carried out with identified risks satisfactorily mitigated.
• Provide onsite guidance and resolve difficult problems to eliminate delays in drilling progress.
• Responsible for technical standards, providing advice, endorsing approval, and proposing changes related to well services engineering while assessing opportunities and threats from changes.
• Advise on residual risk levels after implementing mitigation measures.
• Review initial risk assessments and mitigation actions for risks assessed up to ALARP.
• Promote and ensure compliance with Company HSE policies, procedures, and regulations to secure a safe work environment and meet HSE targets.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements (SLA).
• Administer and manage budgets, forecasting requirements, reviewing budgets, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions for effective cost management.
• Monitor and manage staff capabilities through coaching and mentoring to develop a skilled and continuously improving workforce.
• Administer the implementation of department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with business requirements and objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• More than 15 years of experience in well service operations, particularly in monobore tubingless completion, with knowledge of wireline operations, well testing, well completion, coiled tubing, workover operations, and Rig-less Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations.
• Strong knowledge of Well Integrity Management and capability to manage/supervise Well Integrity operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance of wellheads and Xmas trees.
• Experience in leading bidding/tender exercises and managing contracts for well service operations.
• Knowledge in drilling, production, geology, and reservoir engineering disciplines.
