JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in inventory management, logistics, and team performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, process optimization, and leadership, with a focus on driving productivity while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse safety, security, and compliance.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and vendors.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, including managers and supervisors.
- Conduct performance reviews, training, and workforce planning to meet operational demands.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Systems & Process Improvement:
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, and automation tools to enhance operations.
- Analyze KPIs (order accuracy, turnaround time, cost per unit) and implement corrective actions.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
- Scaling & Structure Optimization:
- Restructure and scale warehouse operations in line with company growth and higher order volume.
- Anticipate operational bottlenecks and implement proactive capacity planning.
- Workforce Management for Gen Z:
- Develop effective strategies to manage and motivate Gen Z warehouse staff with clear KPIs, performance feedback, and engagement techniques.
- Enforce strong discipline while maintaining a healthy and respectful work environment.
- Raise the operational and cultural standards of the department, building a capable leadership pipeline.
- Implement strict SOPs and follow through to ensure team accountability and consistency.
- Work closely with Purchasing, eCommerce, and Data departments to ensure smooth stock flow and fast response to stock-related issues.
- Improve communication pipelines and reduce downtime between departments.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in warehouse management, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
