On a given day, you will:

• Analyse vast trading datasets to uncover unusual patterns, anomalies, or sophisticated exploitable activities that could signal potential risks
  
• Spearhead investigations into suspicious trading activities, continuously enhancing our risk control effectiveness
  
• Monitor and evaluate critical trading risks including product risk, concentration risk, exposure risk, and systemic vulnerabilities
  
• Leverage AI-driven models and machine learning algorithms to detect fraudulent activities, predict emerging risks, and optimise risk mitigation strategies
  
• Design and refine cutting-edge risk detection methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring tools and early-warning systems
  
• Partner with internal stakeholders across trading, risk management, and compliance to ensure comprehensive risk mitigation strategies
  
• Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of vigilance, analytical excellence, and proactive risk management

We would love to work with you if you:

• Hold a degree in IT, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
  
• Bring at least 4 years of experience, including 2-3 years in risk monitoring or fraud detection within Dealing Desk operations, online trading, or the financial industry
  
• Demonstrate a good understanding of financial markets
  
• Can make sound, data-driven decisions under pressure
  
• Communicate effectively, explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences
  
• Have exposure to trading platforms like MT5 Manager/Administrator or cBroker (a plus!)
  
• Are familiar with different types of trading platforms and derivative products
  
• Have experience leading small projects and working knowledge of SQL (preferred)
  
• Are proficient in data analytics and AI-driven fraud or anomaly detection techniques, using tools such as Python, R, or machine learning models to identify trading risks
  
• Have experience or enthusiasm for embracing AI technologies
