Job Title: Senior Technician, Entomology

Location: Kota Damansara, Selangor

Department: RD&E

As the Senior Technician, Entomology, you will be responsible for rearing high-quality insects in support of the entomology research function. The main responsibility is to execute daily rearing activities in a laboratory setting, in conformance with established protocols & standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Rearing of mosquitos, house flies, cockroaches, and other household pests
2. Keep insectary surroundings clean and tidy for day-to-day rearing operations
3. Measure, document, and track insectary operational performance
4. Assist the insectary lead in maintaining and enhancing facility operations
5. Assist other entomologists with efficacy testing and documentation

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related fields
2. Fluent in English
3. Experience in a laboratory setting
4. Rigorous precision in following standard protocols and adherence to a tightly defined schedule
5. Ability and willingness to work partial shifts on weekends and holidays

Job Requirements:

1. Full time
2. No relocation eligibility
