This position reports to Hub Asia Sales Support Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for offering technical advice and providing comments to support early engagement, conceptual studies, FEED, and inquiry specifications for customers/Account Managers regarding ABB’s integrated solutions, preferably within the oil and gas, chemicals, and LNG segments. You will collaborate with other TSSS within their domain (i.e., Electrical, Telco, Digital, etc.). Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations is also part of your responsibilities. You will formulate competitive proposals, considering the best available solution/product mix for each individual opportunity assigned to you, ensuring bids and proposals are well documented in a timely manner with appropriate details, including full and accurate costs. Collaboration with extended stakeholders (i.e., Project, engineering, product, and leadership) is essential, ensuring all risk review processes, assessments, and approvals are adhered to/documented in the preparation of the proposals. This role contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries Business – Hub Asia Region.
The position is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
