Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

Our client specialises in providing innovative solutions for livestock, poultry, and swine farming.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct first-piece production inspections at supplier premises.
• Prepare the Quality Inspection Check Sheet, establishing appropriate inspection criteria before the start of mass production for newly localized articles.
• Coordinate with suppliers and inspectors for outgoing inspections to meet set targets.
• Ensure proper calibration of key measuring equipment at suppliers and verify the use of correct measuring tools and inspection jigs during inspections.
• Assist the Procurement Engineer in part qualification and packaging solutions to ensure effective cargo protection and transportation.
• Ensure suppliers comply with all company regulations and requirements.
• Review product assembly guidelines and confirm the availability of all materials and resources.
• Develop and implement quality control guidelines and protocols.
• Train new inspectors, suppliers, and vendors on quality assurance procedures and protocols.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
