Senior Specialist Nextcloud

Work in the IT team that operates the Infineon on-premises Nextcloud platform.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Maintain, configure, and upgrade the on-premises Nextcloud clusters in collaboration with other IT infrastructure teams.
• Perform periodic maintenance to ensure the secure and stable operation of the Nextcloud platform.
• Contribute to the automation of routine tasks related to the installation and operation of the Nextcloud platform.
• Provide 2nd-level and 3rd-level support for the Nextcloud platform.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any equivalent course.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix server administration, and web hosting technologies (LAMP stack).
• Basic skills in Bash or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Nextcloud, either as an end-user or administrator.
• Knowledge of database technologies and working with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Good soft skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and openness to learning new technologies.
