The Role

• Testing of Banking Software Applications, Mobile Apps, and Web Applications.
• Prepare and Set Up Test Framework and Environment.
• Participate in Software Design Reviews and Walk-Throughs.
• Collaborate with End-Users and Business Analysts to understand functional and design specifications of new website features and services.
• Develop unit tests.
• Perform integration tests.
• Conduct system tests.
• Execute usability, security, stress, and regression tests.
• Recommend Test Strategies tailored for different e-commerce applications.
• Design and Execute Test Plans.
• Prepare Test Data.
• Track and Manage Software Defects using a bug-tracking system.
• Ensure Quality Assurance for the application’s functionality.

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in banking domains, servicing global banking/global wholesale stakeholders.
• Proven record as a Software Testing Engineer for both manual and automation testing.
• Familiarity with Test Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Selenium, Cucumber, and other relevant tools.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with performance testing tools like LRE, JMeter.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a test team, manage workloads, and provide coaching/training to newcomers.
• Strategic Testing Ability: Capable of strategizing testing efforts, providing action plans/mitigations, and preparing statistics/reports.
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate with various stakeholders both vertically and horizontally.
• Banking and Financial Services Testing: Added value if experienced in testing for banking/financial services products.
• Understanding of SDLC or AGILE Methodologies: Familiar with project management frameworks and documentation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, effective written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to IT managers.
• Ability to Work Under Pressure and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of QA Methodologies and Defect Lifecycle is essential.
• Critical, Analytical, and Logical Thinking.
• Creative and Visionary mindset.
• Effective Communication Skills: Verbal, writing, and presentation.
• Design and Programming Knowledge: Expertise in Java.
• Database Knowledge: Oracle.
• Operating Systems/Platforms: Unix, WebLogic, WebSphere.
