Senior Software Engineer - Azure OpenAI & Cloud Solutions

You’ll be part of Information Management and Productivity - Development where you, together with your colleagues, comprising nine product teams both developing and supporting various endpoint, office, and collaborative solution technologies. As a team, we collaborate daily in a diverse, ambitious, and global setup of over 50 colleagues with various IT stakeholders to work on our toolset, identify business needs and promote efficiency.

You’ll play an important role in:

1. building and managing cloud-native solutions on Azure, leveraging various Azure services
2. contributing to AI/ML development by working with OpenAI models and prompt engineering for innovative solutions
3. participating in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from design through deployment and maintenance
4. designing and implementing APIs with a focus on security and best practices
5. managing Azure resources, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and automating cloud workflows using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
6. developing and deploying applications using containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).

To succeed in the role, you:

1. have strong coding skills, particularly in Python and TypeScript, with bonus experience in C# or JavaScript
2. have a deep understanding of Azure services, including OpenAI, Functions, API Management, and cloud-native development
3. have knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity management, authentication, API security, and networking concepts
4. have a solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), with skills in prompt crafting and refining
5. are familiar with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps for automating build, test, and deployment processes
6. have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
7. have strong problem-solving skills to adapt to changing circumstances and the ability to mentor team members and share knowledge about new technologies.
