SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology)

Responsibilities:

• Develop software programs based on provided requirements.
• Modify, upgrade, and support existing software programs.
• Document any systems or programs developed.
• Design, code, debug, and test new software programs.
• Work closely with different teams on system integration.
• Ensure that the project is delivered on time.
• Provide system support, documentation, and training to customers.
• Able to independently perform on-site system study, deployment, and troubleshooting when needed.
• Participate in customer requirement study, document user requirements, and propose solutions.
• Propose and design solutions based on user requirements.
• Lead engineers in a small team.
• Review and sign-off work by team members.
• Delegate tasks to team members.
• Perform any other jobs assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree or other professional qualifications in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Team player with the ability to work under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to travel to customer sites with own transportation.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented with a pleasant personality.
• Database: MySQL, MSSQL
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, XML, API, JSON, and RESTful.
• Extra: Experience working with SCADA/MES Systems and web/mobile development experience.
