Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our software development team, which specializes in providing customized and bespoke applications and solutions for mobile operators worldwide. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing telecom-specific solutions, APIs, middleware, and full-stack applications. This role requires a strong technical background, customer-facing experience, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development & Design: Lead the development, design, and optimization of high-performance applications, APIs, and middleware solutions.
Requirement Analysis: Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to develop scalable software solutions.
Bug Fixes & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and infrastructure/network-related issues efficiently.
Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture.
Customer Consultation: Engage with external customers to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful software implementation.
Pre-Sales Support: Assist in pre-sales activities, providing technical consultation, solution design, and effort estimation.
Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development, deployment, and maintenance activities.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with stakeholders to perform UAT and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software development experience, with expertise in:

Full-stack development: Frontend and Backend
Web Technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, etc.
Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate Framework
JSON, Oracle DB, MySQL DB
Other similar programming languages and databases

Industry Experience: Enterprise Software Development, and Cloud Technology.

Customer-Facing Experience: Must have experience interacting with external customers, vendors, and partners at all levels.

Strong business analysis skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

High-level communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business users and technical teams.

Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with regional team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Strong understanding of telecom-specific terminologies and industry best practices.
Experience in consulting and solution design for enterprise software sectors.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for software optimization and performance enhancement.
Relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
