Senior Site Supervisor

About the role

Slot Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, including tradesmen and labourers
2. Ensuring that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies
3. Monitoring and managing project timelines, budgets and resources to achieve project goals
4. Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
5. Liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any concerns
6. Overseeing the quality of work and conducting regular inspections to ensure it meets the required standards
7. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
2. Must possess at least SPM /Diploma Holder/ Degree in relevant field.
3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes and regulations
4. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
5. Able to understand architectural, engineering and supplier drawings and ensure works are built accordingly.
6. Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
7. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
8. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
9. Familiarity with construction safety protocols and a commitment to promoting a safe work environment
10. Effective time management and organisational skills
11. Fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese.
