Senior Site Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise construction works and ensure main infrastructure works are completed on time, within budget, and conform to quality standards, construction drawings, and contract documents.
• Coordinate and monitor machinery to avoid idling on site.
• Check drawing discrepancies and coordinate all construction drawings.
• Liaise with subcontractors for timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain requisite quality standards as per client's requirements.
• Involve in testing, commissioning activities, handing over of the job, and establishing warranty dates.
• Enforce company’s safety procedures and policies at project/construction sites.
• Ensure that employees and subcontractor workers adhere to the safety plan and procedures.
• Issue Corrective and Preventive Actions to employees/subcontractor workers for continual improvement and carry out any dispositions made by management.
• Check materials upon delivery on site.
• Carry out Pre-Delivery Quality Inspection and issue defect list to contractors for touch-ups before CPC issue.
• Monitor defects rectification raised by purchasers during the Defect Liability Period and issue final defect list to contractors before CMGD issue.
• Take instructions and assignments from superiors as required.
• Submit Site Daily Reports to superiors to report daily activities on site.
• Attend contractors' claim verification with QC and Contract Department.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Young candidate with at least five (5) years of experience in site supervision, particularly in property/township development within the Malaysian market.
• Experience in project management or coordination is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills with a good command of both written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fully dedicated, dynamic, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
