Senior RTR analyst

The Senior RTR Analyst is a crucial player in the Accounting & Finance department who will be responsible for the smooth running and improvement of the RTR process. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Description

• Carry out accounting and reporting tasks in accordance with established processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions, and update process documentation as necessary.
• Address finance-related inquiries from employees, managers, finance partners, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Escalate issues or concerns to the Country Accountant or RTR Team Lead as needed.
• Assist with migration projects, including work shadowing and creation of work instructions.
• Foster strong teamwork and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Contribute to cross-process and cross-functional collaboration to achieve GBS goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable legislation.
• Ensure deadlines and tasks are completed in accordance with SLA requirements.
• Actively participate in improvement initiatives and support their execution.

Profile

A successful Senior RTR Analyst should have:

• At least 2 years of combined experience in accounting and finance.
• Ideally, an audit background with experience in a Big-4 firm and exposure to working within a GBS organization.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership of responsibilities, including self-directed learning and research to effectively complete tasks.
• Strong team player.
