Senior Rotating Mechanical Engineer - 12 Months Contract

A Senior Rotating Mechanical Engineer with below minimum duties and responsibilities:

1. Be fully aware of personal workload in order to plan, organize and prioritize workload to ensure all document submission/issue dates required by contracts are maintained.
2. Be fully familiar with individual project work scope in order to prepare, monitor and maintain process Design Philosophy, ensuring all design reviews and actions are completed as scheduled.
3. Be fully familiar with department and company procedures, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
4. Read, understand and apply Project specifications, National and International Standards in the preparation and revision of accurate, error-free, non-ambiguous engineering calculations - then liaise with Drafting staff to ensure calculation requirements are understood.
5. Read, understand and apply Project specifications, National and International standards in the checking of engineering calculations or review and checking of engineering drawings to ensure they are accurate, error-free and non-ambiguous.
6. Provide HSE leadership ensuring personal/team compliance with legislation and Company policies.
7. Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by team lead.
8. Handle packages and liaise with vendor for package delivery.
9. Ensure the effectiveness of the Quality management system.
10. Ensure to carry out risk & opportunity analysis.
11. Identify and update organization content, including internal & external issues and interested parties’ requirements.
12. Evaluate the effectiveness of the risk & opportunity further action plan.
13. Promote customer requirements, risk-based thinking & process approach.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 10 Years Mechanical Design Engineering Role in the Oil & Gas industry.
2. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Production Engineering or equivalent.
3. Very good knowledge of International Oil & Gas standards.
4. Supervisory and mentoring skills.
5. Commercial awareness.
6. Understanding of Company Quality Assurance procedures.
7. Understanding of Risk Assessment principles.
8. Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
9. Strong communication skills.
10. Team player.
11. Self-motivated to maintain document submission dates.
12. High degree of attention to detail especially during the review of Engineering drawings and calculations.
