Senior Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design)

The above position includes but not limited to the items as listed below:

1. In-depth understanding of full cycle of ID BQ, Specifications, and Contracts.
2. Must be familiar with pre-contract and post-contract work such as tender preparation, request for quotation, cost analysis, evaluating claims and payment certification, issue Purchase Orders, evaluating and comparing quotations, etc.
3. Good follow-up and organization skills.
4. Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, update claim submissions, preparation of final account.
5. Manage sub-con payments and main-con claims.
6. Manage back charges to sub-contractors.
7. Job site visiting and monitor site progress.
8. Prepare award of contract, checked contract documents and recommend contractor’s evaluation.
9. Able to do hands-on matters such as measurement/ taking off during pre, post and final contract stages.
10. Collaborate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
11. Acquire quotations from contractors and suppliers for the purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting.
12. Able to maintain proper and systematic documentation filing system for outgoing and incoming contract correspondences.
13. To attend contract consultant meetings, site meetings, site valuation, site measurement and relevant regular meetings.
14. Input on-going development of new templates, documents, systems and processes for Contract and Procurement management to incorporate lessons learned and efficiencies.
15. To undertake other ad-hoc duties as appropriate and as assigned by management.

Job Specification

1. Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveyor or any relevant / equivalent field.
2. Minimum 2 years experience.
3. Possess knowledge on ID QS in interior design and build.
4. Good attitude, passionate in learning and punctuality.
5. Possess own transport and willing to travel.
