Job Description

SENIOR TECHNICIANS – QUALITY (QA)

KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To verify VMI/test module failures during in-process quality inspection gate.
2. To maintain the quality system that has been defined.
3. Accountable to the Product Quality Engineer task and daily assignments including quality audits and not limited to gate failures.
4. To assist Quality Engineering on dppm improvement activities.
5. To perform containment actions and quality excursion found in the production.
6. To provide daily reporting to assignment on task on-hand.
7. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
8. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
9. Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Telecom/Mechatronics) background.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in the related fields is required for this position. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
3. Applicants must be hands on and analytical person, able to perform soldering and electrical testing, good in Microsoft Excel and able to handle multi tasks situation.
4. Knowledge in fibre optics product (transceivers), semiconductor assembly and test background is an advantage.
5. Good communication skills with all levels within the organization.
6. Willing to work in rotating shifts.

SENIOR TECHNICIANS – FAILURE ANALYSIS

KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To perform first level failure analysis on customer or production failed units including failure verification report (FVR) generation.
2. Capable to operate all the FA instruments including low and high microscope, DCA, Chamber, X-ray machine, parameter analyser, multimeter etc and familiar with chemical work and safety.
3. Maintain and oversee calibration of analysis equipment.
4. Able to support FA engineers to compile the FA report with conclusion that correlates with physical observations.
5. Able to work on swing shift rotation as well as OT whenever there is such a need.
