Senior Quality Manager

As the Senior Quality Manager you will play a crucial role in maintaining and continuously improving the quality of our manufacturing processes. This full-time position is based in Muar, Johor, and will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control functions across our production facilities.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive quality control systems and procedures to ensure products consistently meet or exceed customer requirements and industry standards
2. Analyzing production data and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
3. Leading a team of quality inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training and coaching to drive a culture of quality excellence
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
5. Maintaining quality documentation and records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices
6. Representing the quality function in customer meetings and audits, and serving as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior quality management role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
2. Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and ISO standards
3. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
4. Proven track record of leading and motivating quality teams to deliver consistent and high-quality results
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
6. Proficient in the use of quality management software and data analysis tools
