Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team, focusing on ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our products without specifically involving software testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality assurance processes, methodologies, and a track record of contributing to the enhancement of product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive quality assurance plans based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Define strategies to ensure effective quality assurance coverage throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Quality Metrics and Reporting:
  • Establish and track key quality metrics to assess and report on the overall quality of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights into product quality trends.
• Process Improvement:
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate them into the quality assurance process.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and contribute to the overall improvement of product quality.
• Quality Audits:
  • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide recommendations and implement corrective actions to address quality-related issues.
• Identify and assess potential risks to product quality.
• Collaborate with teams to develop strategies for mitigating and managing quality-related risks.
• Documentation:
  • Create and maintain documentation related to quality assurance processes and standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance the overall quality skill set within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering).
• Proven experience in quality assurance (IATF 16949 and ISO 13485), with a focus on improving overall product quality.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
