Plan and request the related training to meet quality objectives.
Plan and conduct on-the-job training as necessary, commensurate with the level of education of the employee.
Manage the QA processes and related outputs compliance with its SOP.
Manage the achievement of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
Correct, prevent, or reduce undesired effects to improve the performance and effectiveness of the process.
Direct, control, and motivate the production team in all aspects affecting work performance.
Handle customers’ quality complaints and perform diagnosis of the problems faced. Submit reports to QA Manager for review and recommendation.
Plan and lead internal discussions with respective process owners on customer complaints/feedback received. Follow up on corrective/preventive actions for customer returns/complaints.
Manage customers’ CAR/8D/customer quality complaints’ progress and closure.
Follow up on FA submissions.
Assist the QA Manager in the administration of QMS.
Perform analytical testing and resolve product non-conformance issues.
Prepare a Control Plan & FMEA for evaluation and inspection of each new part/manufacturing process.
Develop and implement quality standards and quality control systems, ensuring all products meet set quality standards.
Prepare Work Instructions (W.I.) for new inspection standards/guidelines.
Advise the QA team to solve their work-related problems.
Maintain proper filing for all respective documents.
Ensure the checklist/forms in use are compliant with EMS/QMS.
Perform other tasks/duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
Requirement
Diploma & above in Engineering.
At least 3-4 years of working experience in plastic injection/rubber and silicone encapsulated industry.
Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485 & IATF16949 is a MUST.
Familiar with LEAN manufacturing and good knowledge of process improvement (e.g., FMEA, SPC, etc.).
