We are looking for an exceptional individual who will be responsible to source, negotiate and purchase construction materials, parts, supplies and equipment, optimizing price, delivery, and payment terms.

The Challenges

A. Sourcing, Negotiation Cost Control

1. Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials, parts, supplies and equipment following established purchasing procedures and optimizing price, delivery and terms.
2. Evaluate vendors' quotations to ensure that they are in line with the specifications required.
3. Take charge of operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery.
4. Responsible for negotiating the best quality, price, terms and service with suppliers.
5. Build and develop relationships with suppliers.
6. Support QS Contract Team with quotations for tendering.
7. Control costs/expenses based on the contract budget.
8. Overseas vendors - negotiate and prepare documents for customs clearance.
9. Analyze potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs.
10. Maintain Purchasing files and records.
11. Mentor purchasing executives (2 staff).
12. Manage drivers for timely delivery of materials (3 staff).

C. Stock-Taking

1. Ensure required machinery on site/warehouse are in working order.
