Senior Project Manager | Data Centre

About our client:

Our client is a well-established MNC with over 40 years experience in industrial projects, specializing in M&E. We are looking for experienced project engineers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design and manage the implementation of project activities including project management and project execution, installation, maintenance for industrial HVAC, cleanroom, process utility, electrical and C&S works.
2. Plan and prepare budget sheet and costing of ACMV system.
3. Plan, execute, supervise and control all technical and other functions of projects secured.
4. Liaise with consultants, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors on work instruction, sequence of work and other project implementation issues.
5. Responsible for project tendering, budget, project cost control etc.
6. Review, plan and monitor project execution schedule and ensure meeting project deliverables.
7. Lead a team of junior engineers and supervisors to ensure proper project execution in each project phase.
8. Identify M&E design concepts and develop design briefs outlining the design requirements to consultants.
9. Liaise and coordinate with consultant for design development for submission and approval.
10. Review and ensure M&E layout design and specifications on the functionality, practicality, constructability and value-engineering aspects are complied.
11. Perform interim progress claims, monitor progress payments and determine variation orders.
12. Attend site/technical meetings on project progress and follow-through of outstanding matters.
13. Ensure timely reporting on project work progress and preparation of reports to the Management.
14. Plan and optimize resources.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in construction and project management.
3. Required skills: AutoCAD, Ms. Excel, Ms. PowerPoint.
4. Good team player.
5. Good interpersonal skills.
