- Lead and manage teams of project members, including outsourced resources and vendors for successful delivery of project within schedule, budget and scope.
- Manage the communication on updates to Senior Management, PSC, Heads of SBG/SFG and SBS/SFS and Board of Directors (when required) on the progress and performance of projects/programs.
- Maintain a consistent application of RHB standard project management methodology, processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project life cycle.
- Pro-actively identify and manage risks and issues and change requests of projects.
- Create strong stakeholders relationship both internally and externally, influence stakeholders expectations and ensuring it is aligned to project objectives. Provide guidance to the project team members about every aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently.
- Manage new key strategic projects to meet project/program goals, including development of clear objectives, timelines, costs and resources.
- Initiate and set goals for the project/program. Strategize their directions/objectives and ensuring they are aligned to business objectives and organizations goals.
- Manage strategic projects / programs covering multiple countries across the region.
- Lead and drive teams of subject matter experts to produce architectural change and technical solutions to meet the project and business needs.

- Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects under a program level initiative.
- Deliver strong leadership skills with proven ability to run, manage and facilitate large and complex projects/programs that are cross-functional in nature and have high budgets.
- Manage interdependencies and risks and drive resolutions of key issues, escalating these risks and issues for guidance and decision where necessary.
- Manage all activities within the project/program management lifecycle, ensuring they are complete on time within the agree budget and scope.
- Manage the project/program budget effectively. Ensure that costs incurred are to be closely monitored and tracked as the project/program progresses.
- Be responsible for project/program quality, and embed quality processes where applicable and relevant.
- Manage the project/program risks, and embed a risk management process.
- Develop and execute efficient communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team.
- Build strong stakeholders relationship with both internal - senior management level and external – vendors and supplier. Influence stakeholders with different agendas to align with project/program objectives.
- Manage and develop the project/program staffing plan, identify hiring needs, develop the position description, conduct recruitments.
- Identify sourcing requirements for project/program, manage the sourcing activities and conduct necessary activities to optimize and align with set goals.
- Manage and oversee the test management team.
- Manage suppliers’ contracts, drive contracts discussion with suppliers, identify the areas of negotiation, facilitate the negotiations sessions with suppliers.
- Responsible for the administration, supervision, coaching, development and performance management of staff within the team/section. Provides technical leadership and direction to subordinates and other project staff.
- Develop, implement and socialise the best practices for performing project related tasks for the organisation.
- Establish and execute effectively the governance framework as well as audit and risk matters during the execution of projects/programs.
- Communicate project progress and statuses to Board of Directors, relevant RHB Committees, Senior Management, PSC & project team on a regular and timely basis.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date reporting and status updates on a regular basis to Group Project Management.
Requirements (Qualification/Experience/Skills)
Formal Education:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Business or any related discipline
Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management, systems development lifecycle, with successful track record in leading, managing and delivering IT projects/program.
- At least 10 years of working experience in Banking/Financial Institution environment and possesses business acumen and strategic planning abilities.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in leading large IT program teams in Banking related domains.
Other skills required:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, able to adapt to various levels of detail.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented in every aspect of the project, but able to handle ambiguity.
- Result-driven, self-starter and independent worker.
- Familiar with the Agile delivery methodology.
