Supervise and motivate a team of manufacturing operators & technicians to ensure that the production processes are aligned with specified key performance indicators such as quality, productivity, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, discipline, continuous improvement, and securing profitability. Ensure the circulation of information, policies, and procedures to subordinates are performed effectively. Encourage self-management and high level of responsibility in line with growth culture principles.
Interface with engineers and other supporting function groups to resolve production issues. Responsible for operation maintenance, troubleshooting, and informing technical personnel for all repairs and equipment malfunctions.
Provide manufacturing information to management by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Facilitate corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
Qualify subordinates' skills through structured training plans to meet standard operating procedures and enhance work quality.
Manage subordinates' disciplinary issues by providing coaching and counseling while monitoring their progress. Ensure subordinates practice 5S and total productive maintenance at the workplace to ensure sustainability of operations.
Implement IMSU/EHS directives in the area of responsibility, adhering to IMSU guidelines & local EHS legislation, and promoting an accident-free workplace.
Utilize processes designed according to the principles of Lean Manufacturing in work groups. Ensure that ideas and recommendations from employees are included and observed during the Lean Manufacturing design process.
Any other tasks/projects assigned by superiors from time to time.
