Senior Production Manager/Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Production Manager/Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

• Based in Selangor

The Role

• Oversee the entire internal supply chain process, from customer order acceptance to raw material availability, production planning, loading execution, and order fulfillment.
• Maintain and manage the master production schedule, ensuring efficient utilization of manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely material delivery, confirming that material supply meets demand.
• Coordinate production operations based on the availability of materials, labor, and equipment.
• Estimate the necessary amount of materials, equipment, and labor for production.
• Monitor production activities against the plan and adjust the schedule as needed.
• Track daily production progress to ensure adherence to the plan.
• Monitor relevant departments daily to maintain the plan's progress and prevent overstock.
• Implement changes to production schedules to meet production deadlines.
• Communicate promptly with relevant departments about changes to current production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to required delivery dates (OTD).
• Lead and manage the production team, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement production processes and policies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Manage budget and control costs to optimize production expenses.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.

The Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering or any relevant discipline.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires serving a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) is an added advantage.
