Senior Product Technician (Based in Ipoh)

Job Description

SENIOR PRODUCT TECHNICIAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To assist the product engineer in achieving test yield target.
• To maintain and qualify equipment, tools/fixtures for production used.
• Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/tools/fixtures.
• To provide technical support on process to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Execute small improvement project to improve process performance and efficiency.
• Do 'whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy. Responsible for the overall product yields. He/she is responsible to establish and implement all appropriate actions to improve the yields.
• Monitoring reaction plans to improve product yield.
• Responsible for the product documentation (e.g., Product specification, etc.).
• Responsible for product transfer readiness and activities. Responsible for revision change of documents.
• Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom, and Housekeeping guidelines. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
• Derive Continual Improvement.
• Practice Risk Based Thinking in planning and execution of task.
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics or Telecommunications)
• At least 1 year experience in related industry and in mass production environment.
• With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data.
• Familiarity on test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscope, others)
• Basic knowledge on RF is an advantage.
• Can work independently and drive initiatives on product qualifications and improvements.
• Knowledge on problem analysis and standard data analysis.
