Job Description
- Defines the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Translates business strategy into product strategy and represents a viable business opportunity.
- Assesses current competitor offerings and seeks opportunities for differentiation, including understanding the reasons customers purchase products and a deep understanding of the competition.
- Designs marketing materials and sales tools that support the selling process to develop positioning and messaging to differentiate products in the market.
- Conducts market surveys with insights on key differentiators and messages for effective market penetration strategies.
- Plans and carries out product launches, including booth and exhibition to promote the product.
- Gathers, manages, and prioritizes market/customer aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues for the best customer experience and satisfaction.
- Appraises new product ideas and strategizes appropriate go-to-market plans, including potential collaboration.
- Recommends or contributes information in setting product pricing.
- Ensures the effective and prompt response of the after-sale service team.
- Coordinates with the overseas team to update the situation and any questions.
- Works closely with engineering, sales, and marketing for prototyping and final development to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Creates product documents that describe IFU, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
- Collaborates closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products.
- Aligns stakeholders around the vision for the product and provides necessary reports to them.
