Senior Procurement Manager

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain, Studies/Administration/Management/Engineering & equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Planning, scheduling, warehouse, transportation, inventories, negotiation.
• At least 5 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in purchasing/inventory/material & warehouse management or equivalent.
• Able to work well in a strong teamwork environment and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiar with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning services.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ensuring that all procurement activities adhere to the company's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health (QESH) management system policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Overseeing the purchasing process, which includes sourcing, ordering, and acquiring goods and services needed for company operations or projects.
• Engaging in discussions with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate prices, payment terms, and other conditions prior to confirming a purchase order (PO).
• Ensuring that purchase orders (POs) are issued on time to avoid delays in procurement or project execution.
• Verifying that all products and services delivered meet the specifications outlined in the PO, including quantity, quality, and delivery conditions.
• Coordinate with the project department on the transfer of products and equipment from store to site, inter-site, site to store or to any other external locations.
• Maintaining regular communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, in line with the agreed-upon schedule in the PO.
• Monitor amendments and changes to the scope of work, supply and conditions of contract, variation orders, and extension of time.
• Ensure all equipment to be purchased are as per project requirements and target delivery date.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.
• Comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the organization.
• Provide adequate support to establish and maintain the integrity of the Risk Management System.
• Undertake all duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required by management.
