What you'll be doing?

• Lead procurement operations: Oversee daily procurement activities and ensure smooth functioning of the department.
• Manage supplier relationships: Identify, select, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective goods and services.
• Monitor performance metrics: Track and analyze procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery times.
• Communicate with leadership: Assist in creating reports and presentations to showcase procurement performance to senior management.
• Develop procurement strategies: Support the Procurement Manager in planning and executing procurement activities, including market analysis and bid management.
• Guide team members: Provide support and mentorship to ensure the procurement department operates efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement: Contribute to enhancing procurement processes and achieving organizational goals.

Who are they looking for?

• Procurement expert: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
• Project management skills: Experience working with Project Management Teams, handling procurement, cost control, and expediting.
• Leadership qualities: Confidence and ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Resilience under pressure: High diligence and patience, with the ability to persist in challenging situations.
• Educational background: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent field of study.
