Senior Process Engineer Plating (Metal finishing)

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Senior Process Engineer Plating (Metal finishing) to drive continuous improvement in yield, quality, cycle time, and productivity for our Deflashing and Plating processes. This role requires a problem-solving mindset, a passion for excellence, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Train, motivate, and supervise a team of supervisors, technicians, and engineers to achieve process yield, quality, and productivity targets.
2. Provide innovative solutions to address and resolve process-related issues effectively.
3. Develop and implement initiatives to improve yield, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
4. Identify and source new materials and equipment for process enhancements.
5. Ensure adherence to customer specifications and review updates to maintain compliance.
6. Enhance process flows and update work instructions, SOPs, and criteria to reflect changes from customers or in-house requirements.
7. Determine standard UPH (units per hour) and material requirements for new equipment.
8. Work closely with production, maintenance, and support teams to implement changes and facilitate smooth product startups.
9. Manage non-conforming products and ensure compliance with process specifications.
10. Perform risk assessments and root cause analyses for quality issues.
11. Monitor process performance and maintain data integrity.
12. Communicate quality alerts and updates promptly to relevant teams.
13. Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior.

Candidate Requirements:

(A) Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Science, or a related field.
2. Experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in plating or backgrinding, is preferred.
3. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in the role are encouraged to apply.
