Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Process Engineer.

Job Location:
This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.

What you will be doing:

1. Responsible to develop a robust process and continuously drive improvement for stability, quality, productivity also yield to meet KPI.
2. Wire Bond expert, responsible to achieve robust and auto-pilot processes.
3. Provide technical consultation and guidance team to ensure team success in daily tasks and projects.
4. Supports development of new technologies and ensures smooth take-over into volume production and integration into manufacturing environment.
5. Accountable and drive for 8D closure of FAR, MRB.
6. Leading and participating in yield & quality improvement and cost reduction activities.
7. As a technical expert in new material, process and method qualification.
8. Generate and update relevant documents, e.g. Process Specification, WI, PFMEA, DFMEA, SPC, DR.
9. Provide inputs for updating of related documents and is responsible for their correct contents, e.g. Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Process Roadmap, Failure catalogue, Control Plan, Maintenance checklist and others for development projects.
10. Liaise with suppliers for continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines and materials in Project Improvement.
11. Identify and develop new Process technology and Improve Process capability to meet current situation also for new requirements.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, related).
• More than 3 years related experience in Wire Bond Process Engineering or in Semiconductor Assembly Manufacturing background.
• Familiar on Wire Bond Process Data Analysis (Statistical methods, data mining).
• First level reliability (Knowledge of various failure modes, knowledge of application and respective reliability requirements and test standards).
• Knowledge in Au and Cu WB in WB platforms such as ASM and SKW.
• Knowledge on statistical analysis software such as Minitab, SPC.
• Statistical data analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Systematic Problem-Solving methodology e.g. 8D, Process Mapping, Fish Bond.
