Senior Principal Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for an OT-Cyber Security Engineer in Penang, MY. In this role, you will join a collaborative team focused on securing the company's infrastructure, applications, and data. We need someone who can scale security initiatives within a growing organization.

These innovations make their batteries ideal for applications in electric vehicles, wearables, and consumer electronics, addressing the limitations of traditional lithium-ion technology.

Description

• OT Security is a must-have
• Conduct security reviews and offer risk-based advice to product and engineering teams.
• Define and identify security requirements for systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on security initiatives, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Evaluate the company's security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and work with teams to strengthen operational security through assessments.
• Assess third-party tools to ensure compliance with security standards for the data they handle.
• Produce detailed reports, including findings, outcomes, and suggestions for improving system security.
• Assist in incident response, including investigation, mitigation, post-incident analysis, and maintaining an incident response plan.
• Stay updated on industry best practices for data management and security related to your role.
• Follow policies and procedures regarding the protection of information assets.

Profile

• 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security
• OT Security is a must have
• Professional certifications in security (e.g., CISM, CISSP, GIAC) are preferred
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience with network security, security tools, and technologies
• Familiarity with compliance programs and frameworks (e.g., SOX, SOC2, NIST, ISO)
• Strong understanding of current security best practices and trade-offs
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
• Capable of clearly communicating complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
