Company Overview
Our client is a global company that specializes in the production and distribution of health and wellness products. They are looking to hire a Senior Operation Manager that’s able to manage the overall operations.
The New Role:
- Inventory Management: Maintaining optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking and minimize write-offs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Managing product registrations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and operating licenses.
- Government Liaison: Coordinating with authorities such as customs, tax departments, and relevant ministries.
- Operational Excellence: Reviewing and refining procedures, addressing operational issues, and ensuring adherence to policies.
- Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, ensuring healthy cash flow, and optimizing expenditures for cost-effectiveness.
- Reporting: Preparing and submitting reports in compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Customer Service: Enhancing customer experience by implementing best practices, processes, and staff training.
- Strategic Planning: Engaging in long-term planning and initiatives to align with company goals.
- Risk Management: Addressing unforeseen challenges and developing processes to mitigate future risks, including cybersecurity threats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, accounting, finance, business management or related fields or equivalent education level.
- Hands-on experience in operations management, preferably in a direct selling, retail, service or related industries.
- Knowledge in inventory management and prior experience in handling importation matters is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of general finance and adept in budget management, cash-flow management and cost-efficient strategies.
- Strong leadership qualities with a responsive attitude, the ability to think on their feet, and quick problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
