The Role: Senior Operations Analyst, HR Shared Services
The Senior Operations Analyst, HR Shared Services is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for APAC countries including Malaysia and Taiwan.
Ensure the accurate and timely salary disbursement and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Provide necessary reports and analysis to management as required.
This position works closely with Corporate HR and Local HR departments, employees, and management.
The HR Shared Services Senior Operations Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to improve processes, implement changes to HR (Payroll) processes or programs to maximize efficiency.
This position will also support special projects within the EBSC HR organizations.
Other duties as assigned but not limited to above.
In this role you will:
Deliver operational excellence of Payroll processing.
Identify opportunities and deliver continuous process improvements as part of a key player in the EBSC HR team to support the further development of the Shared Services HR function.
Data Management:
Deliver regional payroll solution requirements, time and attendance, and statutory processing to maintain compliance with legal, fiscal, and regulatory requirements.
Process Efficiency and Automation:
Support the execution of Global Process Ownership for processes as defined and assigned by our Corporate HR office.
Drive success through working with peers and teammates across geographies on common ways of working, process improvements, and initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement through process efficiency and/or automation.
Partner cross-functionally to address operational requirements and compliance.
Be a key team member in automation initiatives for the Function as assigned by the Corporate Office.
Partner with and influence required business partners to drive process, systems, and organizational changes successfully.
Service Delivery:
Continuously meet the target of delivery of a comprehensive set of performance metrics.
Investigate and resolve complex issues that arise regarding policies, processes, and practices.
Deliver excellent customer service and operational excellence to regional HR customers, monitoring inquiries and internal customer satisfaction and providing escalated support as needed.
Ensure all service delivery is in full compliance with all audits, certification, HR policy, and Employee Handbooks as related to processes and services delivered in the EBSC HR.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
8+ years of experience in payroll administration or payroll processing, ideally with experience in Malaysia or Taiwan payroll process.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
Proven track record of handling complex payroll tasks.
Good knowledge/experience of payroll and related statutory labor laws required for payroll-related calculations.
Experience with payroll software (such as Workday, ADP, or SAP system) will be an added advantage.
Attention to detail with the ability to deliver quality output whilst working under pressure and tight timelines.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex payroll processes independently.
Preferably with MNC experience.
Payroll accounting, SOX, and automation experience would be added advantages.
