Senior Operations Advisor (Food Manufacturing)

We are a growing company in the food manufacturing industry seeking a Senior Operations Advisor to lead and enhance our operational effectiveness. This role offers flexibility for full-time employment or freelance consultancy, depending on the applicant’s preference and experience.

The level of responsibility will be aligned with the candidate’s experience—more senior applicants will take on broader strategic advisory roles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
2. Analyze operational and business strategies, processes, and reports, offering actionable insights for continuous improvement and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
3. Implement or enhance Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
4. Ensure operational compliance with HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 and other food safety standards.
5. Support production planning, resource allocation and performance monitoring (KPIs).
6. Collaborate with cross-functional operation teams including QAQC, Logistic, Production and other departments.
7. Provide leadership, mentoring or training to plant teams where needed.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology or related field.
2. 5–10+ years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry.
3. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
4. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
5. Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
