Senior Officer, Human Resources (Training & Development)

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct training need analysis for every department to gather all training information needed by their department.
2. Propose training that relates to the department and wait for their response.
3. Acknowledge the training nomination from the requesting department and contact them directly for confirmation on the information stated in the request.
4. Find training providers that conduct training as requested through training nomination by the requesting department.
5. Confirm information between the requesting department and training provider to ensure the training achieves the training objectives.
6. Review the training proposal from the training provider and advise on claims from Human Resource Development Corp (HRDC).
7. After confirmation, request for trainer profile, program tentative, training details, and quotation from the training provider for HRDC claim purposes.
8. Maintain a good relationship with the HRDC person in charge.
9. Attend any workshops or training organized by HRDC to gain new knowledge or for refreshment.
10. Ensure to follow HRDC procedures for any grant application along with the required attachments.

Requirements

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in training and development or related HR functions.
3. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
7. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
8. Passion for employee development and a commitment to fostering a learning culture within the organization.
