The CIS MY Senior Network Engineer is accountable for ensuring availability of networking services for NTT DATA Business Solutions. Ensuring network services are delivered in line with global standards, compliances and available to SLA expectation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer the local area networks (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) at NTT DATA Business Solutions sites including configuration, consolidating, hardware upgrades, monitoring performance and logs collection.
• Setup, configure and administer the switches, routers, and firewall at NTT DATA Business Solutions sites including configuration, consolidating, hardware upgrades, monitoring performance and logs collection.
• Design, setup, configure and administer enterprise LAN/WAN, switching and routing environments to ensure safe and smooth network operation in line with approved standards.
• Responsible for providing trend analysis to the Management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network health, ensuring traffic volumes are within network capacity.
• Ensure that documentation is maintained and kept up to date in line with NTT DATA Business Solutions standards and policies.
• Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications sessions.
• To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

• Always ensure that company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to.

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology.
• Min 6+ years of experience in network engineering and network administration in data center environment (multitenant data center experience is preferable).
• The candidate should have at least some knowledge of the cloud platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP).
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and common networking terms as well as knowledge of network cabling.
• Proven experience of maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting enterprise LAN’s with Cisco switches and routers and with strong understanding of its Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS and Cisco NX-OS).
• Proven experience of maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting firewalls (FortiGate preferred), including firewall rules configuration and with strong understanding of its Command Line Protocols (FortiGate CLI).
• Proven experience/knowledge in Network Security.
• Proven experience/knowledge in network routing protocols.
• Able to perform physical tasks in network scope inside the data center environment.
• Background experience of working within Cisco & FortiGate environment.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Strong English language – Written and Verbal and experience in international collaboration.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
• Able to travel when/if required.
