Senior Network Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Network Engineer at E INSIGHT SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the company's complex network infrastructure. This full-time position is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, and will involve taking ownership of the design, implementation and ongoing management of our network systems.

What you'll be doing

• Design, configure and deploy network solutions to meet the company's evolving business requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect the company's systems and data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network infrastructure projects
• Continuously monitor and analyse network performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Document network configurations, policies and procedures to maintain clear records
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on network-related matters
• Remain up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer or in a similar role
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply for a junior Network Engineer position
• Proficient in designing, implementing and troubleshooting network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs
• Strong understanding of network protocols, standards and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and performance optimization tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex network issues
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills to document technical information and provide support to stakeholders
• Relevant certifications, such as HCIA, HCIP, CCNA, CCNP, CCSE, NSE would be an advantage
