Senior Network Engineer

Organization is looking for a Network Engineer/Consultant to join the team. The required role will be a senior position in the Network Team within a System Integrator Environment. The successful candidate should be CCNP level or equivalent and able to design, deploy & support from simple to complex network architecture, including but not limited to solutions involving Enterprise LAN, WAN, Mobility/Wireless, Security, Network Management & Network Cabling.

Responsibilities

1. Acts as Senior Presales Network Engineer/Consultant in the Team.
2. Maintaining presales relationship with client, principal & distributor technical stakeholders.
3. Involved in presales tender proposal write-up, solution design & consultancy.
4. Evaluate market-leading network technology & solutions, tailoring them to meet client business objectives/requirements.
5. Provide presales to postsales transition to the project team to ensure successful project rollout based on the proposed solution.
6. Conduct POC, solution presentations to potential customers.
7. Assist on Level 3 post-sales support to engineering colleagues & customers.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
2. CCNP Certified or equivalent industry qualification.
3. Mature, self-motivated, proactive, aggressive, and independent.
4. Strong self-starter with a proven track record of accomplishment.
5. Required to speak fluently and write in English and Malay.
6. Candidates should have their own transport; possess a valid driving license and passport.
7. Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
8. Good experience & understanding of network routing and switching, mobility/wireless, network access control, firewall, data center networking, structured cabling & network management.
9. Minimum 4 years’ experience in proposing, designing, deploying & supporting at least 3 of the following technologies: CISCO, HUAWEI, HPE, Aruba, Fortinet, Ruckus, Palo Alto, CheckPoint.
