Senior Medical Sales (Medical Device IVD)

• To present, demonstrate and promote all IVD & point-of-care testing (POCT) products represented by the Company to existing and potential customers according to product-related market segments.
• To organize appointments and meetings with customers, including Healthcare Professionals (HCP), Clinicians, Emergency Physicians, Endocrinologists, Cardiologists, Haematologists, Anaesthesiologists, Paediatricians, Pathologists, Pharmacists, Point-of-Care Coordinators, Scientific Officers (SO), Medical Lab Technologists (MLT), Matrons, Sisters, Purchasers, etc.
• To negotiate contract terms or tenders with relevant parties, follow up persistently until the deal is closed.
• To provide quality and prompt after sales service to customers.
• To convert cold calls into leads then subsequently generate sales.
• To acquire new customers, maximize sales with existing customers, retain key accounts.
• Good and regular maintenance of customer database.
• Conduct market surveys and customer surveys, monitor competitor’s activities, strategies, change of PIC, pricing etc to maximize own opportunity to achieve sales growth.
• Work on GAP strategies (Grow – growth of existing account, Attack – competitor conversion, Penetration – new account).
• Aggressive in pursuing sales opportunities and establish/maintain long-lasting business relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Create positive brand/company awareness.
• Able to generate SWOT analysis & competitor comparisons.
• To report daily for all visitation in CRM.
• Knowing when the tender will be out prior to it. Check the tender specifications.

• There are 2 sales positions available.
  • Sales territory - Central, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor (x1 vacancy)
  • Sales territory - Central, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan (x1 vacancy)
• Candidate must have a degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, Biotechnology, Science or other life science related studies.
• At least 3 – 5 years of experience working as sales in the IVD industry is required.
• Commission and Travelling allowance are provided.
