Senior Mechanical Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

1. This role is on a call-out basis and performs the following scopes in line with API RP 2D and the Company's requirements.
2. Carry out quarterly, half-yearly, and annual inspections and maintenance on all cranes at offshore platforms.
3. Participate in and comply with the Permit to Work system.
4. Carry out hydraulic hoses and wire ropes change-out program.
5. Perform corrective maintenance.
6. Inspect all lifting/rigging equipment on the platform at set frequency and provide detailed reports.
7. Perform scheduled sampling of oil & grease and analysis for crane equipment.

Minimum Requirements

1. Engineering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. 5 to 8 years of working experience related to total maintenance of offshore pedestal cranes and other lifting equipment maintenance.
3. Experience in offshore crane and lifting equipment & rigging operation, maintenance & inspection.
